Pat Moriarty was a legend. In my youth I always enjoyed attending his annual Moriarty party Labor Day weekend in Old Saybrook, My cousins and I loved the steak, Shirley temples and Irish music. Thank you for attending my wedding many years ago and for the beautiful Waterford crystal candlesticks. I will treasure them. I share your love for County Kerry and the breathtaking Dingle Peninsula. May you rest in eternal peace.

Pat was a very kind man who enjoyed celebrating life with those around him. I enjoyed my many interactions with him over the years as we discussed Holy Cross. He always spoke deeply and lovingly about his extended family and of fun gatherings in Old Lyme and on the shore in Old Saybrook. I especially remember a wonderful dinner we shared in Summit with then-Holy Cross president Phil Boroughs, SJ. Peace to all of Pat's family and friends.

I was one of Patrick's partners in Summit Radiological Associates. He was a good friend. We shared many a good meal and great bottle of red wine (as well as a good Scotch now and then...). He was generous.. and I was always impressed by his closeness and generosity with his family. I loved his stories of renting a room on 5th Ave to be able to see the Thanksgiving Day Parade with his family... When I was a young doctor, he lent his Shore house to my wife and I and our young son (I forget which color house it was) for vacation, and when he came down for the weekend, the festivities abounded!! He also had us to his "country home", ( I was told it was the original Colt Estate) for a 3 day long feast. His loss saddens me... but I consider myself very lucky to have known him, to be taught by him, and to consider him a friend. My condolences to his family... and as he would say " May the wind always be at your back.." Pete Snieckus
