Helen M. Randar Plucinski, age 90, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Leonard Plucinski Sr., passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017.Born and raised in Bridgeport, Helen had been a Fairfield Town resident for over 60 years. After raising her family, Helen went on to work as a media assistant in the Media Department of the Andrew Warde High School for over 15 years. Helen enjoyed movies, reading fiction, knitting and cooking for her family and friends during the Holidays, she especially liked international travel with her husband visiting Europe, New Zealand and Australia. In addition to Leonard, her loving husband of 68 years, Helen leaves behind her son, Leonard Plucinski Jr. and his wife Karen of Brewster, MA. and a daughter Joan Plucinski of Stratford, grandchildren Luke and Ali Plucinski as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Alan, sisters Patricia Verses and Frances Wheeler and a brother George Randar. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 noon DIRECTLY at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratfield Rd., Fairfield with burial to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.To sign an online register, purchase flowers or to get travel directions, please visit www.LeskoPolkeFuneralHome.com
