My condolences to Abby and the family. I remember many years back, that Abby would talk of how happy Bruce was now that he "worked" outdoors. He made a lasting contribution to the community.

Our sincere condolences for the passing of Bruce, a model citizen, devoting a large portion of his life to the Aspetuck Land Trust especially, Trout Brook Valley. He was a dedicated husband, father and just a fun guy to be with. He loved being involved in sports especially cycling, hiking and skiing, some of which we enjoyed with him. He even took up golf when he retired. Bruce will be very quickly missed but not long forgotten. God bless you. Barbro and Dick

The only really meaningful measure of a man is whether or not he made the world a better place by living in it. Bruce certainly did that in spades...and did so with gentlemanly grace.
I'm going to miss those walks down the fairways with Bruce, his ready smile and good humor. I'll think of him often, especially when my mind drifts from the game at hand to the beauty and wonder of surrounding nature.
My heartfelt condolences to his loving family.
