Obituary of Sandro Alvaro Spencer

Sandro Alvaro Pires Spencer, 50, of Bridgeport, passed away on November 28, 2024. Sandro was born in Angola and moved with his family to Portugal when he was just a few months old. At the age of 5, he relocated to Bridgeport, CT. Sandro is survived by his beloved daughters, Stephanie Spencer, Alexa Spencer, and Vanessa Spencer. He is also survived by his mother, Fernanda Spencer; his father, Daniel Spencer; and his brothers, Danny Spencer and Carlos Spencer. Additionally, he leaves behind his aunt, Zita Pires, as well as many other aunts, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Fernando Pires, and his brother, Nelmo Spencer. Sandro loved playing soccer and listening to Kizomba music. He was a die-hard Benfica fan and held a deep affection for Portugal, his favorite place. He had an infectious smile and a playful sense of humor. His three daughters were the loves of his life, and he enjoyed jet skiing and had a passion for cars. Calling hours for Sandro will be held on Friday, December 6th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM.
