Obituary of Patrick Frances McCormick

Patrick Francis McCormick, of Fairfield, CT, died on Friday, November 15, 2024 at his residence. Mr. McCormick was born in Darien, CT and was a resident of Fairfield most of his life. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Patrick attended Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield, CT and received a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University and a master's degree from PACE University in NY. His professional career included being Controller at Western Management Corp. in NYC for many years. Patrick was an avid NY sports fan and loved to watch and talk sports. He was a kind and generous brother and uncle throughout his life, and he will be greatly missed by his family who he gave his heart and soul to. He is survived by his three sisters, Mariellen Shea of Stratford and her husband Tom Shea, Susan McCormick of Moodus, Kathleen Bronsdon of West Hartford and her husband James Bronsdon, his brother Thomas McCormick of Madison and his wife Colleen: seven nieces, two nephews and nine great nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, CT. A private burial will follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury, Long Island. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
