Obituary of Frank Rivek

Frank Rivek, 92, of Fairfield, Connecticut died June 25, 2023. Frank Rivek, son of Frank and Maria Kopac Koprivec, passed away suddenly in his home on June 25, 2023. Born in Ljuibljana, Slovenia, Frank came to the United States in 1954. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1962.

He is survived by his sister, Maria (Koprivec) Divjak; and his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Koprivec. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his three brothers, Anton, Louis, and Stanley.

Frank worked as an electronics technician for many years, retiring from Perkin-Elmer in 1991. Frank had many interests and hobbies from skiing to shooting, from computers to the opera. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, with Full Military Honors.
