Bob graduated in 1979 from Mary Immaculate Academy High School in New Britain, and later from Kaplan University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he earned his Bachelors degree in Business Management, and graduated Suma Cum Laude. Back in his younger days, Bob was a passionate softball player and played for numerous softball teams including the New Britain Fire Fighters. He played in the outfield, and won several championship games in Portland, Maine. A talented athlete, he was invited to play for the International Tournament in Maryland. In more recent years, he was a member of the Douglas Golf and Country Club, where he enjoyed golfing in the tournaments. A Knight of Columbus, First Degree member of Council No.15718 in Douglas, GA, Bob was appointed "Lecturer" because of his enthusiastic way to make his brother Knights stand up and take notice, each walking away exhilarated about what they had heard. He regularly donated blood and reached the one gallon mark with the American Red Cross. Bob treated the maintenance of home in Georgia and his vacation home in Florida  as one of his hobbies. He loved spending time at his vacation home and traveling with his loving wife Sharon.

During Bob's 10 years as a Distribution Manager for Southwire Company, in  Douglas, GA, his team was recognized in a company wide "Safety In The Work Place" video challenge for being the best, an honor he considered among his most precious career achievements and memories. For the last year and 1/2 Bob worked for Spectrum Distribution in Douglas, GA as a Shipping Manager, where he had a way of making his employees perform to the best of their abilities. Bob touched many people throughout his life and will be dearly missed.
