Sherry Iassogna DeSabella, age 72, of Fairfield, beloved wife to Joseph DeSabella, entered into eternal rest on November 25, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with diabetes. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Sherry was the daughter to the late Bernard and Dorothy (Kiel) Iassogna . In addition to her devoted husband, Joseph, of 53 years, Sherry’s memory will be cherished by her loving children, Tina Mauro, and her husband, Benjamin, of Shelton, Joseph DeSabella ,and his wife, Stacy, of Fairfield, Anthony DeSabella, and his wife, Rita, of Trumbull, Matthew DeSabella, and his wife, Cat, of Trumbull; grandchildren,  Kaitlynn and Ashley Mauro, Olivia and Carly DeSabella, Jenna and Anthony DeSabella, Aubrey, Autumn, and Sophie Sancho; great grandchild, Kayden McDonald; a brother, Bernard Iassogna, and his wife, Odete ,of Bridgeport; a brother in-law, Nicholas DeSabella, of Stratford, a sister in-law, Theresa Palmieri, and her husband, Michael, of Stratford; a special aunt, Mary (Maisie) Iassogna, of Bridgeport; a special cousin, Richard Pazik, and his wife, Linda, of Florida; a special Uncle Ron Vitale of Trumbull; and several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
