Please share a memory of Theresa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Theresa A. Wasilewski, age 79, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Leo J. Wasilewski, entered into eternal life on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
Theresa was born in Bridgeport and resided in Fairfield all her life. She managed the Card Gallery in Bridgeport and then went on to become shift supervisor at CVS in Bridgeport until she retired. She enjoyed weekend trips and shopping adventures to Lancaster, PA each summer. Theresa attended many Doo-Wop concerts as that genre was a great passion of hers. A tight knit family, Theresa's main focus was her family and loved her grandchildren and spent as much time as possible with them. Everyone enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas and summer picnics. She looked forward to her weekly standing appointments at her favorite hair salon, Hair Explosion, where Dee and Larry always took great care of her for many years. Theresa was a great listener and people will miss her sympathetic ear.
Theresa's memory will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Deborah Waldhaus, and her husband, Robert, of Fairfield; grandchildren, Daniel Waldhaus, and his wife, Kate, of Shelton and Curtis Waldhaus, and his girlfriend, Kaitlyn, of Fairfield; a niece, Erin Neil-Hickey, and her husband, Philip; and great-niece, Maeve of Litchfield; and nephew, Scott Neil, and his wife, Jennifer Cohen-Neil, and great-niece, Brooke of Shelton. In addition to her husband, Leo, Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Anna Galla Magera; and a sister, Dorothy J. Neil.
