Born in Bridgeport, Joe had been a lifelong resident of the town of Fairfield.
Joe was predeceased by his mother Doris and father Stephen Kertesz.
Joe is survived by his brother, Stephen J. Kertesz, and his spouse, Ann DePedro of Providence, RI.
Funeral services will be held privately.
