Obituary of Laurie Favereau Merry

Laurie Favereau Merry, age 63 of Ansonia, wife of the late Dennis Merry, passed away peacefully after a brief illness.

Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Don and Marilyn Kelley Favereau, Laurie had lived in Ansonia for many years. She had worked as a computer operator for the Pace Motor Line for over 35 years until her retirement. Laurie enjoyed dancing, camping, playing bingo with her friends and more than anything loved the times that she spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, David Drury of Ansonia, daughters Denise Drury of Ansonia and Jennifer Drury of Florida, grandchildren Justin Drury, Alexis Rice, Kera Nealy and Kasee and Robert Discepola Jr.  She leaves behind her brothers, Don and Mike Favereau of Waterbury and sisters Lisa Kavouras and her husband Pete of Waterbury and Debbie Carter and her husband Ron of North Carolina as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center. All other services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made towards the needs of the family.
