Dear Carr family,
We did not even know Chris' first and last name until we read his obituary in the paper and got in touch with someone else from St. Anthony. We knew Chris only as the friendly greeter at the door to St. Anthony with always a smile and a nice greeting for us all. We knew him too as our cars were always parked in the same area so we shared a few more words with him as we returned to our car after Mass. Please accept our deepest sympathy. We were so sad when we read about the loss of this kind, very active man who did so much for our parish of St. Anthony. We know that his loss will be keenly felt.
With deepest sympathy,
Doug and Peggy Chandler

My sincere condolences to the Carr family. Chris was a great guy and brother-in-law. He was so proud of his children and spoke well of everyone. I will always be thankful for his frequent visits to our home during his sister’s sickness as he always made her smile. RIP buddy. Don

My deepest and warmest sympathies to the Carr kids. Chris was a great guy and so proud of all of you. I know how excited and happy he was to go to Ireland. I'll miss playing golf with him. Godspeed.

Chris Carr was a friend, a drinking buddy, a business partner, a basketball teammate, and a coaching partner, but really, he was just a great guy. I will miss arguing with him about UCONN v Nova. I will miss listening to him complain about the Yankees even when they are in first place. I will miss playing golf with him Thursday afternoons. Chris you will be missed old buddy.

Sending love and prayers to all. Chris was a great guy and I am most grateful to him for sharing his family - as they have all become my family - Taylor, Pete, Jon & Iza, Glenn & Hunt, and Hil. I'll miss his wonderful sense of humor. We always shared a good laugh - including the chain saw turkey massacre of 2021 and Chris trying to negotiate his way into the hospital room (during COVID) when Henry was born.... OY. God Speed Chris! Love to all - Sal &Lisanne
