Obituary of Jeanette Casey

Jeanette Casey, age 85 of Bridgeport, wife of Paul Casey, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. 

Born and raised in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Chester and Charlotte Churko Suchecki, Jeanette was a lifelong Bridgeport resident. She, along with her husband, Paul, operated the Paul Casey and Sons Roofing Company for many years until her retirement. Jeanette enjoyed her crossword puzzles, caring for her home and gardens, feeding the outdoor animals and more than anything she loved the times that she spent with her grandchildren. 

In addition to Paul, her loving husband of 64 years, she is survived by her son, Thomas Casey, and his wife, Sandra, of Shelton; grandchildren, Michael and Kristin Casey, Katherine Memolo, and her husband, Shawn, and Kaitlyn Casey, Paul A. Casey, and his wife, Emmy; and great-granddaughters, Makenzie and Natalie Memolo. Jeanette leaves behind her sisters, Charlotte Geoghegan, of Orange, and Dolores Pinchot, and her husband, Charles, of Delaware; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Paul Casey. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull. There will be no prior calling hours.

Arrangements in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
