Every time we see the Mermaid we are reminded of the beautiful summer day we spent together - Tucker at the deep end of the pool taking a short break before plunging back in at the deep end. Such a simple little thing but we are grateful for the memory and the gift of counting as one of our blessings. May the Lord keep Roger and Susan in His embrace. With our love, the Zemola family.

Every interaction I had with Tucker during our time at Prep together never failed to interest me. Tucker's curiosity and kindness is something that will always stand out to me when I think about Tucker. Tucker was a light in the world and a beloved member of the Prep Brotherhood. I am grateful to have known him and will miss him dearly. My prayers are with his family and friends as we mourn the loss of such a kind soul.

Tucker and I first became close during our years at prep together, starting with rowing crew and our love of skiing. We set out on tons of trips and adventures, from walking through NYC and hitting as many restaurants we can, to shredding the slopes on top of a glacier in Austria, or winning big in a casino in Canada. I’ll never forget every moment I was blessed to spend with him, and the memories he left me and all of his family and friends will be a strength in future ahead.
I love you Tucker, I miss you my brother, and I’ll never forget you.

When I was about 16, I posted in a local buying/selling sneaker group looking for a job. Only received one message that day, and it was Tucker. I knew his name and we knew a lot of the same people, but we had never met, yet he took the time to message me about a job at Timothy’s. This is where our friendship was born, and it was a great friendship without a doubt.
As years passed, Tuck and I got super close and hung out all the time. We spent pretty much every day of 3 straight summers going out to fish, generally at Devil’s Den in Easton CT. These were some of the most enjoyable days I can remember of my life, and Tucker really inspired my love for fresh water fishing. He was so at home when we went out there, so focused. Tucker was passionate about a lot of things shoes/clothes, music, sports, etc. but he really seemed most at home with a fishing rod in his hands and feet in the water.
I have so many great memories with Tucker, it’s hard to recount in writing. He was a great friend, and was always spreading love and positivity. Tuck showed respect and kindness to anyone he crossed paths with, wether it was the 1st or 1000th time. This attitude and his values were always consistent and never once faded, and I know it’s because he truly enjoyed meeting and connecting people.
Tuck had so much influence on me, and I’ll carry the times we shared with me for the rest of my life.
I love Tucker like a brother, and I will miss him dearly always.

My friendship with Tucker began at the University of Alabama. Both being from the Fairfield, CT area, we stuck together, establishing a sense of familiarity and comfort that was difficult to find in our new environment. The connection we shared allowed for an easier adjustment to college life, making home not seem so far away.
We both ultimately left Bama and lost touch. After not being in contact for a couple years, I was pleasantly surprised when I received a message from Tucker out of the blue a few months ago. I don’t exactly know what made him reach out, maybe it was just to check-in, but that one message reignited our friendship. What started as us just catching up with each other, resulted in us talking almost everyday, learning and sharing a lot about each other. Tucker was very easy to talk to, our conversations were engaging and thought provoking. I could say anything, positive or negative, and he made me feel heard and valued. I trusted him and I think that he trusted me too. Our light hearted talks would turn into deep late night discussions, talking about our lives, the past, present, and future. While our newly reclaimed friendship was only over the phone and on facetime, we discussed the possibilities of us getting together to go skiing, and him making the trip to visit me at UConn.
There aren’t enough words to describe Tucker. He was compassionate, honest, and determined. He was funny, supportive and enthusiastic, not to mention, charming! Full of compliments and encouragement, he always was hyping me up. Looking at one of the last conversations I have saved between us, he said, “let's go, you look great <3”. I remember being anxious that day, and that little message really helped relieve those feelings. He didn’t have to say anything at all, but it was just the type of person he was. I wish he knew how much that meant to me. A bittersweet memory I’ll hold close forever, truly exemplifying the kind and selfless being that he was.
Although our friendship was cut short, just as it was getting stronger, I am thankful for the time we had to really get to know each other, and I will cherish those memories. I am heartbroken he is gone, but happy I had the opportunity to get to know what a great person and friend Tucker was. Like I said before, I don’t know what made him reachout to me a few months ago, but I am so grateful that he did. Gone but never forgotten. Rest In Peace, my friend. I’ll miss you
