Obituary of Brett E. Thompson

Please share a memory of Brett to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Brett Eugene Thompson, age 54, Navy veteran and Banker, died at his home in Southport, CT on Wedesday February 16, 2022. Born in Ridgecrest, CA, he was the son of Larry and Diane (Tait) Thompson.

In addition to his parents in Ridgecrest, he will be lovingly remembered by his two boys, Benjamin & Christopher and their mother Christine all of Fairfield, CT, as well as, his sister Randi Fisher and her husband Rick of Bangor, ME.

Brett's greatest joy was spending time with his boys and family. Brett was an avid reader, lover of music - especially U2, a history buff, and loved the outdoors. Brett was always an eternal optimist, "the glass was always half full". He loved to tell jokes, laugh, teach, watch movies, scuba dive, travel and was an avid Miami Dolphins Fan. Brett graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Business Administration, dual degree program from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He was currently in process of obtaining a third Masters so he could teach college students. Brett lived a life of merit and accomplishment, not only as a scholar but as a family man, he will surely be missed.
