Obituary of William Joseph Tracy

William Joseph Tracy, age 59, of Monroe, beloved husband to Marcia French Tracy, entered into eternal life on August 2, 2018.
Born in New Rochelle, NY, William was the son to the late Dr. John and Marie (Eisen) Tracy. William earned his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Bridgeport and had worked for U.S. Tobacco, Inc., Penny Saver and was most recently the manager in graphic design for CRN in Hamden. He enjoyed art, guitar, kayaking, fishing, road trips, traveling, eating lobster in Ogunquit (Maine), Wine Festivals, Music Festivals, Art Shows(participating and attending), spending time with his dog, Chance and his grand-dog, Einstein.
In addition to his loving wife Marcia of 29 years, William's memory will be cherished by his daughter, Kristen T. Gross and her husband, Stephen J. of RI; sisters, Joanne Kalan and her husband, Brian of Florida and Mara Tracy of CA; a brother, Robert Tracy and his wife, Patti of NJ; sister and brother- in-laws, Judy and Harold Lang of SC and Harry and Gloria French of CT and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. John D. and Marie Tracy and parents-in-law Arthur and Arlene French, Jr. "His art, spirit, and life were an inspiration to many".
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association. Friends may greet the family on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 1 to 3 PM with a prayer service to be held at 2 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home.
