Obituary of John Paulus

John S. Paulus, Jr. age 73 of Felton, Delaware, entered into eternal life on July 17, 2018.

John was born in Budapest, Hungary and is the son of Susan (Egri) Paulus and the late John Paulus, Sr. He was a US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War and was the proprietor of Colonial Painters of Bridgeport, Oxford, and Dover, Delaware. John enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family, friends and his dog “Lady”, telling jokes, fishing, and animals.

He is survived by his children, John S. Paulus III of Stonecest, GA, Richard V. Paulus of Meridan, CT, Tina M. Paulus of Garner, GA, Laurie Disernia of Darien, CT, his mother Susan Paulus of Bridgeport, CT, former wife Sabby Paulus of Stonecrest, GA, and his eight grandchildren, including Brian PAulus, Richard Paulus, Jr., Jericaa Valis, and Savannah Paulus. He was predeceased by his father John Paulus and a brother Alexander Paulus .

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Entombment will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
