I was friends with Brian at Staples High School. Brian and I traveled to San Francisco for a week in 1969. We both lived at home and had to sell some stuff to raise money for airfare. It was a magic time and Brian was a great friend and I was always in awe of his piano playing. We somehow lost touch after Staples, but I’ve always remembered and thought about our time. I just learned about his passing, it really affected me. What a special person he was, now I wish I could just call him...
