Obituary of John A. Kertesz

John A. Kertesz, age 45, of Fairfield, loving son of Doris Romaine Kertesz, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 after a brief illness. Born in Bridgeport, John had been a Fairfield Town resident for most of his life. He had worked for the Wyrepak Co for many years and most recently for the Hubbell Heating and Air condition Co. of Stratford. In addition to his mother Doris, John leaves behind two brothers, Stephen J. Kertesz and his spouse Ann DePedro of Providence RI and Joseph Kertesz of Fairfield, an aunt Jolanda Barber of Fairfield, uncles Floyd and Albert as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Stephen. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with a prayer service at 7:30 pm.
