Obituary of Marion Angelico

Marion Angelico, age 80, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2017.

Marion will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jo Ann Angelico Moranski, and her husband, John, Mary Ann (Angel) Angelico Pierce, and her husband, Jeffrey, and Salvatore P. Angelico, Jr.;

her dearest grandchildren, John J. Moranski III, Lauren K. Moranski, Amy Moranski Crouch, Michael S. Crouch, Samuel J. Pierce, Melanie A. Pierce, and Vincenzo J. Constantino: cherished great grandchildren, Oliver John Crouch, Finley James Crouch, and Cecilia Jane Moranski; two brothers,

Frank Ruzicka and Joseph Ruzicka. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Ruzicka and Catherine Lisko Abel; daughter, Sandra Marie Angelico; grandchild, Christina M. Diglio.

A retired home health aid for the Town of Trumbull, Marion enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, especially her Slovak specialties. Talented at quilting, she created many beautiful items for her family including most recently for her great grandchildren, Ollie and Cecilia. She was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Family Church.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday 915 AM in the funeral home and 10 AM in Holy Family Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery.
