Obituary of Thomas A Frost

Thomas A. Frost, age 85, of Fairfield, husband of the late Catherine "Kitty" Frost, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 23, 1935, son of the late Thomas J. Frost and Mary Frost, Thomas had been a Fairfield Town resident for many years. He proudly serviced his country during the Korean War in the Amphibious Reconnaissance Battalion of the United States Marine Corps. He went on to various careers as a newspaper printing pressman, Bergen Country, NJ police officer, a restaurant owner and real estate broker. Tom enjoyed the outdoors while fishing or playing golf. Prior to the Covid pandemic, he could be seen in the Little Pub of Fairfield on Saturday night, sitting at the bar having dinner and watching his favorite team, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish playing football or watching whatever sports were playing. He will be fondly remembered as a proud Marine who loved his family, God and Country. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his children, Thomas J. Frost, and his wife, Sherry, of Lake Ariel, PA and Susan Frost Hamburg, and her husband, Eric, of Fairfield; grandchildren, Kelly Scialampo, and her husband, Joseph, Thomas J. Frost, Jr., and his wife, Casey, and Anthony Frost and Aidan Hamburg; and great-grandsons, Joseph and Zack Scialampo and Noah Frost. A military burial will be scheduled this spring at Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Semper Fi & America's Fund.
