Your mother was warm and kind. She and your father would babysit for me when they were dating. I remember dancing at their wedding at Fairfield University as a child. Always saw her at church cookie fair every year. Very sorry for your families loss.

Years ago, my daughters had the privilege of being students in Maureen's middle school math classes. She always encouraged their learning and did so wearing her magnetic smile. Later, I taught with Maureen at Rogers Park from 94-2000 as a member of her 6th grade cluster. I remember her love for both her students and her craft. May she rest knowing she made a difference in many young lives.

I taught with Maureen at Rogers Park and at Danbury High and always found here to be dedicated, talented, warm, and sincere in her mission of enriching the lives of her students. As one of the Rogers Park breakfast club, I got to know Maureen personally as a deep, loving, humorous friend. To all her family, her friends and anyone who has had the privilege to interact with this beautiful person, honor your grief for was and always will be much loved.

Maureen, working with you at Rogers Park you welcomed me and Roland coming up from the elementary schools. I remember you going skiing with us a few times with Rogers Park. I remember those thought cards you would send to me around so many holidays I will miss picking up the phone and hearing your laugh.
Also my friend I will miss your meetings for the Rogers Park Breakfast we had after retirement.
God Bless you my friend.

Having the opportunity to work with Maureen was special. Smiling, upbeat and laughter were always part of her lesson plans. I'm sure I speak for all the old timers from " The Park", when I say she brought those same traits to our monthly retirement breakfasts. She will always be with us in our hearts and minds.
