Mister Lomnitzer was indeed the best teacher I ever had. He inspired me in the classroom and as a life student. As a teacher he was light-hearted but commanded that we all 'show up' both as students and for sure when we became adults. He was truly an American hero. I am so glad he had a good life with an abundance of love and support. My condolences to his family for the loss of such an amazing mentor.

Mr. Lomnitzer was my 6th grade social studies teacher at Bedford Elementary. He led the classes with discipline but his sense of humor came through. I will always remember him and his classes and send my prayers to the family. Vivianne Pommier
