I am so sad for you loss. I don’t even know where to begin because I have known Darrell since I was 6 years old. I have been best friends with his sister since I was six. Darrell and I loved playing jokes on Missy his only sister when we were kids! We graduated from the same school and were in the same class CKHS “81”. When we were teenagers If Darrell was around and someone was picking on me he became my protector he looked out for me. I spent many days and nights at his house and his family treated me like family his mommy is my second mommy! I have so many stories and fun memories of him and growing into adulthood.. Then we graduated Missy was older and moved away to New England Darrell followed and met the love of his life Married had a family and lived his life. I traveled to New England and visited with Darrell and Missy and he and his love and baby traveled to Disney and we all reunited for a brief visit. Every time I asked about him my reply would be Darrells in New England and his family is is life! He loved his little family! Many classmates asked about him through the years and so many would say if you talk to Darrell tell him hello! Tell him to get back home to see us. He was loved! RIP ole friend

I’ve always had memories of Uncle Darrell growing up in New Hampshire and at the lake house but my most vivid memory was on his wedding day. That was such a happy day, I had to be 8 maybe 9 years old and I remember we all gathered at the restaurant for the reception. Uncle Darrell and I sat at the beautiful wooden bar together and he tried to make me feel like such big girl in my pretty Sunday dress and he order me a Shirley temple and we just enjoyed a moment together. I love you Uncle Darrell, I’ll remember all of the good times, you will be forever missed.
