Obituary of Kenneth Fred Capozziello, Sr.

Kenneth Fred Capozziello, Sr., age 73, of Bridgeport, husband of Barbara Jean Capozziello, passed away on Monday August 3, 2020. Born in Bridgeport, Ken was a lifelong city resident. He had worked in demolition and construction as a driver for the Dalling Construction Co. of Bridgeport for many years until his retirement. Ken enjoyed his Florida vacations, the Gulfstream Racetrack and loved the Hard Rock Cafe, Elvis Presley, his Cadillac DeVille and was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan. More than anything he adored the time that he spent with his family. Survivors include his children, Kenneth Capozziello, Jr., of Wyoming, PA, Tina Capozziello, of Fairfield, and Jason Capozziello, of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Kaja Arredondo, Mary Capozziello, TJ and Taylor Nicholson, Crystal and Brianna Muthersbaugh, and Grace and Quinn Capozziello. He leaves behind his sister, Angela Zilli, of Derby; and brothers, Marshall Capozziello, Gino Capozziello, Russell Capozziello, Dennis Capozziello, and Lenny Benton, all of Fairfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 3-6 pm with a prayer service at 5:45 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center due to power outages at The Larson Funeral Home in Bridgeport which is in care of the arrangements.
