Obituary of Jane Morm Hultgren

Jane Clancy (Morm) Hultgren, age 87, of Milford, wife of the late George Hultgren, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Bridgeport on July 16, 1931, daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve Harold Clancy, Morm was a longtime Black Rock Bridgeport resident, moving to Fairfield in the 60's raising her family there, ultimately moving to Milford four years ago.

She had worked as an administrator for the United States Pentagon, where she met her husband George and later for the Remington Arms Co. of Bridgeport. Morm was an avid reader, she loved football especially her Dolphins and hosting family events. More than anything she loved the times that she spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, daughters Carlen Hultgren, of Atlanta, GA, Joanne Monroe, and her partner, David Heriot, of Milford, and son, Eric Hultgren, of Gainesville, GA. She leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Evan Monroe, and his fiancée, Jenna Calderone, Asher Monroe, Korin Monroe and Cassidy Monroe; great-grandchildren, Tanner George Monroe and Claire Josephine Monroe; a sister, Lois Walsh, of Fairfield; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Clancy, brother-in-law, Edward Walsh and sister-in-law, Nodie Clancy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Ann's Church, Brewster St., Bridgeport with burial to follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 3-7 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center.
