Wally you will be deeply missed.
I remember when you started working for Saugatuck Taxi 13 Years ago. You always treated everyone equally and fair. We will all remember your Christmas cards with the lucky lotto ticket and we will miss it. Thank you for everything.

Wally, we had many years of fun playing softball together. You became my kids favorite player and a friend to them as they grew older.
Rest in peace my friend.

To the Family, what can I say today to ease the pain of such a lost of a great person?
Not too much.
We all loved "Wally" for who he was. He was such an original person and like Frank said, " he did it his way".
Im a long time friend from his old job MECA Software when I started there in Westport CT just after I returned from a tour of duty in the US Army.
We had such great times.
We also spent much time in our Gold Coast Fantasy Football League.
Year after year we would draft a team together a the VFW Westport.
Wally i'm truly sad to see you go, but I know your in a better place.
Rest in Peace old friend.
Dawud

Wally, our prayers go out to you and your family and friends.
As all of your true friends know, you brought joy, laughter, banter, but most of all, a genuine caring for all of us despite your hilarious barbs.
May God provide all for you, including that magnifying glass left behind utilized so often to prove your point - or was that another “p” word.
Look down from above Big Dubya and remember all your friends. Just don’t use that magnifying glass on a sunny day checking up on us. I tip my Miller Lite to you, my friend.
Until we meet again, take care brother.
With love from all your GCFFL owners.

Dear family members. I'm honored to have called Wally my friend, softball teammate, coworker etc. I'll remember him for his genuine kind soul and the laughter he brought me. For over 25 years he was part of a band of friends of former coworkers, softball teammates, black duck acquaintances and the such. When his knees didn't permit softball anymore we still connected with a fantasy football league that he was passionate about and brought joy to us all. He loved his Dolphins and Orioles with a passion! I hope every day in heaven is like the 1972 Dolphins for him.

Loved this guy. Will never forget working with him and always telling him to stop smoking and slamming cokes. Anyways. He had a hell of a heart. Always talked about his big shot brother and was always content with what he had. Tough exterior in many different ways but what a gentle soul. Will be dearly missed
