My deepest sympathy to the family. I sat outside Paul's office for 5 years. During that time, he always had a smile and a story to tell. A truly kindhearted soul. May he rest in eternal peace.

Dear Cathy and family. Every time I sat down to write something about Paul the shock of his passing was hard to absorb and to express my condolences. Many, many years ago, I was told stories about Joe and Paul by my grandfather who frequently visited with them. Coincidentally when I joined KGMG as my first job out of college, I met Joe face to face as he was a KPMG senior executive at that time and eventually Joe introduced me to Paul. I looked up to both Joe and Paul as successful business leaders and role models for my career aspirations. Joe and Paul have both guided me and mentored me at various times in my career and I was lucky to have such knowledgeable and trustworthy advisors! I will always remember Paul’s willingness to help and be thankful for his friendship and practical advice. I will also remember many conversations about Mets/Yanks over the years and will miss the banter this upcoming baseball season! From my immediate family to yours we are so sorry for your loss and express our condolences! May Paul rest in peace and the immediate pain of his loss turn into a celebration of his life and appreciation from all those that he touched. Sincerely Joe and Charlotte Malvasio

I was so saddened to hear this shocking news. I met Paul when he started at Guy Carpenter. I supported him as the CFO and joined him at Marsh until he retired. He was a pleasure to work with that I called him each year before Christmas to stay in touch.
Last year got away from me. My heart aches I didn't make that call. I am so sorry for your loss. I am going to miss him too. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

My condolences to Cathy, Cristen and her family. I remember moving to East Brunswick and meeting my new neighbors the Malvasio's. Even though we were neighbors for a short time before you moved, we became friends and made some lasting memories together. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this trying time.

Paul and I worked together at NAC Re when I was a young aspiring technologist. I was so incredibly fortunate to have learned by example from a man with such great character and leadership skills. When Paul presented the financials to the company in our board room as a young man I looked up to him with great respect and confidence.
Paul played on our softball team. He was our pitcher and he treated every one of us like he was our peer. When he spoke to you he looked straight into your eyes often touching your shoulder. He was truly a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed by his family and his friends. To his family your hearts are shattered for sure but know that your husband and father made a difference to everyone he came to know. Rest well my friend.
