Dear Hageney family,
Doug and I first met Ray at St. Anthony Church. We would see Ray always sitting in a certain spot in church and decided one Sunday to introduce ourselves to him. That began many Sundays of stopping by his seat to see what was new and how he was doing. In addition, I, Peggy, would see Ray sitting outside his lovely home when I was doing my five day a week walk. Both Doug and I always enjoyed our conversation in church with Ray, finding out where he originally hailed from and that his sister lived in Rhinebeck where Peggy's brother and his family still live. Ray was a lovely man and he will be sorely missed by many, us among them. I will be remembering both Ray and Barbara every time I pass by their house. Please accept our most sincere condolences.
Sincerely,
Peggy and Doug Chandler
