Obituary of Sylvia Culetsu

Sylvia Nastu Culetsu, age 89, of Bridgeport, wife of the late John Spiro Culetsu, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Dimitrie and Nasta Nastu, Sylvia was a lifelong Bridgeport resident. Mrs. Culetsu was a lifelong member of St. Dimitrie Orthodox Church. 

She is survived by her son, John C. Culetsu of Las Vegas, Nevada, a sister Margaret Michaels, a nephew James Michaels and his wife Olga of Bridgeport and nieces Michelle, Susan and Linda and great nephews John and James Michaels. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Nastu.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with Rev. Fr. George Coca officiating. Burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of services.
