Obituary of Joseph C. Miro
Joseph Carl Miro. age 58, son of the late Joseph R. and Barbara Lindwall Miro passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021.
Joe had many passions in his life. He worked proudly alongside his parents at the Miro Farms farmstand, he enjoyed getting his
hands dirty in the greenhouse, creating culinary delights at his restaurant, and had great interest and joy for music. Although he took notable pride in his work, there was no role he cherished more than being a father. You couldn't have a conversation with Joe without him mentioning Joseph or Julianna and how proud he was of them. His tireless love and devotion to his family were always evident to those who knew him best.
In addition to his children Joseph M. and Julianna Miro of Fairfield, he leaves behind his sisters Barbara Miro of Milford and Mary Klein (Roy) of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife Lisa Miro.
Joe will be fondly remembered by his family for the strength that he showed during the last six months.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM with a prayer service officiated by Father Peter Cipriani at 7 PM. All other services will be private including his interment in Lawncroft Cemetery.
