I'm sorry to hear of Sue's passing. Susan and I taught biology together at WHS and shared a classroom for a few years before her retirement. She had a soft spot for those underdog students and helped support them. She had great stories of teaching through the years! I loved hearing about her experiences in the early days of DNA forensics. My thoughts and prayers are with Susan and her family- may her memory be a blessing.

I am so upset that Sue is no longer with us. She and I worked together for the first ten years of my career. Sue was always so helpful, caring, and kind to me, and she had a positive impact on so many students during her years. She will truly be missed.

I enjoyed working with Sue over the years at Weston High School. She was a straight shooter and down to earth.Had a great sense of humor and loved teaching. She will be missed by all that she crossed paths with. RIP

I’m so sorry for your loss. Ms. Pastor fostered my love for forensic science, my lack of knack for science in general, and showed me that a teacher can mentor you and support your dreams even when you were not an A student in their class. Her letter of recommendation helped me get into college, and she always had her students’ best interest at heart.
Ms. Pastor will be dearly missed. May her memory be a blessing.
