As a young woman, I always felt welcome at the Secskas house. You would think that with all of her own children, Enda would not necessarily welcome more into her home, but that was never the case. She seemed to take life in stride and with a great sense of humor. She was a great lady with a great spirit. I am sure she is looking over her family with the same loving care she did when she was with them. May God bless Edna and those she left behind.

Extending our sympathies to my Secksas cousins, It is with a heavy heart I search for words memorializing my Aunt Edna Mae. With her passing I will miss the connection she provided linking me to my Mom and Aunts and Uncles who have gone before. I will miss her phone calls checking in and keeping me in the loop of family happenings. I hold many wonderful memories in my heart that will bring a smile, a tear and or chuckle and I am forever grateful for that.
We pray Aunt Edna Mae finds eternal rest with the Lord and may my cousins find comfort and peace in their grief.
In Sympathy and Prayer - Cousin Mary and Tony Amodeo

My Aunt Edna was a gem, a hero, a great mother, grandmother and all around friend to so many. There are many people who benefited from her love and generosity - I'm one of them. Aunt Edna will be remembered best by her sharp wit, uncanny perceptions and love that was solid, never mushy, but, there all the time. After I found out she died, I was inconsolable. I couldn't stop crying and felt like a couldn't breathe. Suddenly, I felt her hand touch my heart, it was an instant of pure peace and solace. I know her spirit was with me, comforting me. Beyond life, after death, she was there for me. I thank God I got a chance to spend time with her, cherish her company and celebrate life. Our little trips to the Blue Sky Diner, The Dollar Tree, and just being together was wonderful. I'm comforted by knowing she walks with God and is united with the love of her life, Uncle Julius and with her eldest son, Ed. I know I will see you again in the future. I'll always love you. Love, YVON, Diane Here she is, at her surprise 90th birthday party.
