Alexandra "Sandy" Connors, age 78, of Boston, MA, beloved wife of the late William F. Connors, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
Born and raised in Boston, MA, daughter of the late John and Katherine Foundas, Sandy was a lifelong Boston resident. A proud graduate of Boston College, she continued to be a part of the BC community after graduation as an Administrative Assistant in the Carroll School of Management for 20 years. Sandy was also, along with her husband and several friends, a 20+ year season ticket holder for BC Hockey and Football. She spent the majority of her life on Lake Street in Brighton while also becoming a part time resident of Dennis, MA where she was known to occasionally enjoy a prohibited glass of wine on Corporation Beach.
She is survived by her son, William M. Connors, and his wife, Kimberly; beloved granddaughters Brinley and Callen Connors; brother Nicholas Foundas; goddaughter Ellaine and many other special nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends. She will be greatly missed. Sandy was predeceased by her siblings George, Gladys, Connie and Arthur and her cousin Gloria.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Lehman, Reen and McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Avenue, Brighton, MA. Her funeral service will take place on Friday 11am at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 514 Parker Street, Roxbury, MA. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain, MA. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
